The website is encoded with UTF-8,  which is chosen to ensure that both simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese can be displayed correctly. Posting messages with other encodings, such as GB2312 or Big5, is strongly discuraged. Because these encodings won’t be displayed correctly on some computers right now, and they won’t be displayed correctly on any computers several years later.

To contact a person, click "Users" on the left side menu, and find the user you are looking for. Click his/her username, then click the "Contact" tab. A personized contact page will show up, from where you can send an email to the user.

For spam protection we don’t list people’s email addresses on the website, and you have to be a registered user to use the personal contact page.

With the new FCKediter we have an easier way to upload image.  Click the image button on the toolbar, and click "browser server". There you can either upload a new image, or select one that’s already on the server. That’s it.

 Please try to upload it by yourself. When you are creating or editing existing content, there is a "File attachments" menu below the editing box. Click to expand it, browse and add new files. After upload you can give each file a friendly title.

and how do I insert pictures into my text?

• After you upload your pictures, the url is shown below the title of the file. Copy it.
• Click the picture icon above the editing box.
• paste the url into the Image URL filed.
