CCCA (康谷華協)Academic Merit Scholarship & Community Service Award Annoucement

Dear High School Seniors:

2016 CCCA Academic Merit Scholarship & Community Service Award for the local high school senior application process is staring now!

Academic Merit Award

In order to give recognition for academic excellence, CCCA is offering several $300-$500 scholarships to college-bound seniors of local High Schools with the following qualifications:

  • Grade Point Average of 3.5 or above in high school.
  • Has attended Thousand Oaks Chinese School for at least five (5) years.
  • Has completed at least 8th grade In Thousand Oaks Chinese School.
  • Applied for admission at a two (2) or four (4) years college or university.

 Community Service Award

As part of its goals and objectives, CCCA is offering $200 scholarships as a token of recognition to deserving high school seniors, attending Thousand Oaks High School, who have served their community.

All Parents/Members Meeting Hosted by CCCA/TOCS/PVA – Saturday September 19, 2015

Dear Chinese Community Members:

Please join us for the all parents of TOCS and members of CCCA meeting hosted by CCCA/TOCS/PVA . The meeting will start at  TOHS Auditorium 10:30 a.m. this Saturday September 19,2015.

In the meeting, TOCS, CCCA and PVA will present to you what they do and what they need from you to support and answer any questions you may have  regarding Chinese Community.

No Chinese School on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 – Labor Day Weekend

There is no Chinese school on this coming Saturday, September 5th, 2015. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

Chinese School will resume on Saturday September 12, 2015.

Parents: Please read the student/parent handbook with your student(s) together and sign the acknowledge form and return to your room-parent.

Wish you all having fun leaning Chinese and involving the Chinese community activities.
