首先要感謝各位家長在疫情期間對千橡中文學校的防疫措施的支持與配合，也非常感謝學校的教職員工，防疫志願者，PVA對防疫工作的付出和努力。鑒於目前COVID疫情逐漸趨緩，中文學校決定進一步放開安全防護措施，請家長注意以下幾點變化：
校園安全措施：
a. 10月8號起，進學校不再查Entry ID，家長可以進出校園接送孩子
b. PreK維持11點下課，其餘年級恢復到11:25下課 (请家长注意接孩子时间)。第三節課下課時間維持不變
c. 學生和老師: 教室內戴口罩 (強調一下：請家長給孩子準備口罩，學校要求室內必須戴口罩)
d. 家長: 鼓勵家長drop off 孩子後，到放學時再來接；若留在學校，請在中庭等候，勿進入教室影響老師教學
狀況處理：
a) 在校任何不舒服,送至office 處理
b) 上課前告知狀況,請學生在家休息,回校上課前48小時的陰性報告
c) 確診者立刻通知老師和學校.在家隔離至少5天
d) 班上的確診者及其密接回中文學校上課前須繳交48小時陰性報告
中文學校會密切關注疫情情況來評估是否進一步放開防疫措施。謝謝大家的理解和配合。

Dear Parents,
First of all, thank all the parents for your support and cooperation in the safety measures of Thousand Oaks Chinese School during COVID. Also many thanks to the school teachers & staff, volunteers, and PVA for their support to the safety work. In view of the current easing of COVID situation, Chinese School has decided to further reduce the safety measures. Please pay attention to the following changes:
Campus Safety Measures:
a. Starting from 10/8, no Entry ID is required to enter campus; parents can drop off or pick up their children in and out of the school
b. School dismissal time back to normal: PreK 11am, other grades 11:25am; 3rd period class remains the same, 12:25pm (Please pay attention to the pick-up time for your children)
c. For students and teachers, masks are required in the classroom (Please prepare masks for your kids)
d. Encourage parents to drop off the kids before 9:15am and pick them up at dismissal time; please do not enter the classroom to disturb the teachers
Situation Handling:
a) Any discomfort in school, send it to the office for processing
b) Inform the situation before class, ask students to rest at home, negative report (<48 hours) is required before returning to school
c) Students who test positive should stay home for at least five days
d) Students who test positive and the close contacts are required to show negative results (<48 hours) before going back to school
TOCS will continue monitoring the COVID situation to assess whether to further reduce the safety measures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
